Cyrano Creativity Consultants LLC was founded in 2007 as a teaching instrument to help German graduates of the University of Alabama in Huntsville interact with Germans professionally throughout their careers. As Cyrano grows, its mission may extend beyond German to other world languages, and beyond Foreign Languages to other UAH majors, as is already true of Cyrano’s Hundredfold Stipend for Study Abroad as a Contribution to World Peace.
Cyrano Creativity specializes in helping peaceful German companies gain a foothold in the United States, and helping peaceful United States firms do likewise in Germany. But it was our love of English that drew us to German in the first place. If you're an American who never leaves town, you may wish to benefit from our command of English. Or our melodies. Germans, and students of German, use their language--which may be visual, or the language of music-- on something. Your handcrafted books and fine cards. Your sports camp. Your non-profit.
Our name derives from the title figure in Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. Cyrano writes beautiful love poetry for the suitor that Roxanne loves because he himself is also in love with Roxanne. He’s able to write movingly because he limits himself to a cause he believes in. Our Roxanne, or Rocky, as the case may be, is a peaceful, sustainable Earth on which we are a relatively early generation.
Our employee feeder system is based on the student and salaried populations of The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and thus includes people with expertise in every imaginable field (the root meaning of “university” from “universe”). If what you need is studied at school, we'll find the expert you need. The constant: you get a talented and flexible team that believes in what you’re doing.
